The North Division Two is a Scottish league for shinty teams. It is in the fourth tier of the Shinty league system. The winners of the league can be promoted to the North Division One although this has rarely occurred in the 2000s due to the winners being a reserve team. This situation should change with the make-up of the league as of 2014 and a rule change by the Camanachd Association. As of 2009, the league is known for sponsorship reasons as the Marine Harvest North Division Two.(). In 2014, the following teams will make up North Division Two. *Aberdeen University *Boleskine *Fort William† *Glengarry *Kinlochshiel† *Lochaber† *Lochcarron *Skye† † Denotes a reserve team The bottom team is relegated to North Division Three. ==History== The status of North Division Two has varied over time. The North Division Two was always the second tier of shinty in the North of Scotland and replaced the MacGillivray Junior League Cup, which had been played for since 1949, from its creation in 1975. The MacGillivray Junior Cup was retained as the trophy. Between 1996 and 1999, the North Division Two became third tier with the creation of a national Premier Division Between 1999 and 2006, the North Division Two became the fourth tier of the league system with the advent of the National Division One. The winners of North Division One and South Division One would play off to gain promotion to National Division One. In 2007, the National Division One was removed, and the Division once again was the third tier of league shinty. Especially since the advent of the Premier Division, the league has been won on several occasions by reserve teams. Until 2008 these teams were barred from promotion, but a change in the byelaws allowed these teams to take promotion if they wished and their first team was not playing in North Division One. Glenurquhart has won the league in both 2009 and 2010 and refused promotion on both occasions. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「North Division Two (shinty)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
